Markets

Nigeria and West Africa

Equipment sourcing for indigenous and independent operators, planned around the conditions your equipment will actually face.

Why this market

A growing need for the right equipment

Indigenous operators now hold a large share of Nigeria's production. Workover, reactivation and marginal field activity are growing, and each of these programs needs rigs, barges, production facilities and well equipment that suit local conditions.

Much of that equipment is sourced from abroad. Getting the specification right before it ships is what keeps a program on schedule.

Operating realities

What we plan for

  • Swamp and shallow water access

Water depth ranges, draft and access routes checked against every well location.

  • Wax and sand

Heating, chemical injection and sand handling designed in, not added later.

  • Gas flare rules

Gas handling, use and compression considered from the start of each project.

  • Nigerian content

Local content requirements reflected in sourcing, services and documentation.

  • Registration and import

Vessel registration and import approvals planned into the schedule.

  • Foreign exchange

Payment and transaction structures that account for foreign exchange constraints.
