Services
Early production facilities
Processing capacity sized from your well test data, not from a brochure, so first oil arrives with the gas, sand and wax already planned for.
01
What we source
- New, refurbished and ex-rental EPFs
- Skid-mounted processing trains
- Barge-mounted EPFs and conversions
- Storage barges
02
What we check
Each candidate is reviewed line by line against your requirement before anyone travels to inspect.
| Area | What we verify |
|---|---|
| 01Design basis | Oil rate, gas-oil ratio, water cut, pressures and temperatures from well test data |
| 02Inlet rating | Inlet pressure rating against shut-in wellhead pressure |
| 03Separation | Number of separation stages and stage pressures |
| 04Crude stabilization | Stabilization to the export vapor pressure specification |
| 05Sand handling | Sand removal, collection and disposal |
| 06Wax management | Heating, insulation and chemical injection against wax appearance temperature and pour point |
| 07Materials | Sour or sweet service materials for the produced fluids |
| 08Gas handling | Gas handling, use and flare system capacity |
| 09Metering | Oil, gas and water metering for allocation and export |
| 10Weights and footprint | Skid weights, footprints and lift points for barge mounting |
| 11Codes and certification | Design codes and whether the package can be classed or certified |
03
Common pitfalls we catch
- Units sized for oil but not for the associated gas
- Inlet sections rated below shut-in wellhead pressure
- No plan for sand or wax
- Skids too heavy or too large for the available barge
04
What you receive
- Design basis and specification
- Request for quotation package
- Supplier comparison
- Integration and barge-mounting scope

Questions
What data do you need to specify an EPF?
Well test data (oil rate, gas-oil ratio, water cut, flowing and shut-in pressures, temperatures) and a fluid analysis covering wax appearance temperature, pour point, sand, H2S and CO2. Where data is missing, we state the assumptions and how they affect sizing.
Can an EPF be mounted on a barge?
Often, yes. It depends on skid weights, footprints, deck strength, stability and class requirements. We check these against the specific barge before recommending a package.
Should we buy new or refurbished?
It depends on your timeline, budget and how closely an available unit matches the design basis. We compare new, refurbished and ex-rental options against the same specification so the trade-offs are visible.
